美国编剧工会1月11日公布了第60届编剧工会奖（WGA Awards）的提名名单，该奖将在2月9日（周日）颁发，但作为此次罢工的始作俑者，编剧工会现在的主要精力都集中到罢工上了，对于这次的编剧工会奖反倒格外低调。
金球奖被他们逼着取消颁奖典礼，对于自己的奖他们也没有开恩，虽然目前东部编剧工会还没有做出最后决定，但西部编剧工会已经表示：罢工不结束，他们是不会搞颁奖典礼的。
